30 Hour LPN Supervisory Course
Our LPN 30 Hour Supervisory course was originally developed to help LPNs successfully transition to the role of supervising Certified Nursing Assistants in a Skilled Nursing setting. This 30 hour series covers management principles and entry level supervisory skills that are valuable in the Assisted Living setting as well. This series is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and can be used for continuing education.
A pleasing dining experience can be a differentiator when prospective residents and families are considering your care setting. Solid dining services also play a critical role in helping to maintain quality of life once those prospects become residents. Our dining and nutrition curricula includes topics such as Changes in Eating Habits Associated with Aging, Proper Nutrition, Hand Washing and Sanitation. The importance of preserving resident dignity and choice throughout the dining experience, as well as serving those with memory loss, or physical and dietary limitations, is also covered. Customer service from the perspective of the resident, as well as from our own perspective, is covered.
Continuing Education for CNAs
According to federal regulations, CNAs must be certified and enrolled in the registry of their respective states. CNAs are also required to have 12 hours of inservices. If your Assisted Living setting uses CNA staff, our library satisfies these requirements. If you are not required to use CNAs in your state, this library can be a value add for your training budget and learning resource for your staff.

Since 1989, the National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long Term Care (NADONA/LTC) has been certifying Directors of Nursing and Assistant Directors of Nursing in Long Term Care facilities. We are fortunate to be the exclusive partner with NADONA/LTC, jointly offering the Long Term Care DON pre-certification course. All the courses for this online self study have been designed by DONs in long term care and are directly aligned with the instructor led pre-certification workshop offered by NADONA in an instructor led setting.
